From Vision to Reality: A Modern Extension Designed for Living
When our clients approached us last year, they were excited to embark on an extension project—but unsure where to begin when it came to finishes and design choices. From the very first conversation, we were thrilled to guide them every step of the way—from selecting colour palettes and kitchen finishes to curating furniture styles that would suit their lifestyle.

We began with a thoughtfully crafted mood board that featured rich tones, dark wood textures, and a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. Since this was a new extension in a relatively modern home, we aimed to create a cohesive yet distinctive design—something that felt fresh and new, but also complementary to the existing structure.

The open-plan layout offered a fantastic opportunity to make the most of natural light, with skylights and expansive patio doors in the lounge creating a bright, airy space. We recommended warm walnut finishes throughout the kitchen, media wall, wall panelling, and furniture—adding depth and a sense of luxury. To balance this, we incorporated soft neutral tones in the fabrics and wallpaper, accented with subtle touches of moss green to enhance the overall palette.
